METRO Connect is Rock Region METRO’s innovative on-demand microtransit service.

WHY MICROTRANSIT?

Microtransit is particularly effective in service areas with emerging or low transit demand. It offers a flexible alternative to a full-size bus on a fixed route. Rock Region METRO utilizes microtransit to provide shared transit rides on demand, using smaller vehicles within specific zones during regular operating hours through its METRO Connect on-demand service.

HOW TO USE METRO CONNECT MICROTRANSIT SERVICE

To utilize the METRO Connect microtransit service, download the app. Schedule ride-hailing trips within the designated microtransit zone during regular operational hours (hours vary by zone). Each zone enables riders to travel point-to-point within the zone, including access to various destinations and other METRO transit services such as fixed bus routes.
